UC Law SF has a well-earned reputation for preparing its students to serve future clients through their oral and written advocacy. UC Law SF is consistently among the top nationally ranked intercollegiate moot court competition teams in the United States, and affords many other opportunities for our students to receive real-life appellate advocacy training. Collectively, the Department’s programs undergird our reputation as a Moot Court powerhouse, and a prominent training ground for future respected practitioners.

Now in its sixth decade, the David E. Snodgrass intramural moot court competition provides 2L students the opportunity for an upper-division appellate advocacy experience.
